Rainy 75 Research

  1. Pro costs from 10-20 more
  2. Pro has cocoa swtiches which I think might last longer, but not sound as good.
  3. Two Batterys so that is better.
  4. The bottom metal mirror finish looks better IMO on the non pro.
  5. There is a purple 75% shell, that I like more than the bluye shell , but the key caps are ugly on that.
  6. I am think of gettingh the TKL crush reboot if I really like this keyboard.
  7. Then I might swap switches,etc.
  8. The crush is TKL, need to see if I can handle 75%.

charge

Hold down Function + Space to see how much charge you have.
We have RGB version so 1-0 indicate how much charge you are at. 0 being full charge.
RGB version: Long-press the 【FN+SPACE 】 combination keys, and the number keys 1-0 will display the battery percentage continuously. 1 represents 10%, 1-2 represents 20%, and so on, until 1-0 are all continuously lit, indicating 100% battery. When the battery is below 40%, it will display in red; below 80%, it will display in yellow; and above 80%, it will display in green. How can I tell if it is charging? There is a Lite, Standard and Pro Version of the Keyboard. It says I bought standrd but I do not see RGB changing? WOBKEY Rainy75 Mechanical Keyboard Style – Color – Switch Type: Standard - Blue - Hmx Violet Linear Switches

Wireless Mode

The only way this keyboard will do anything without being plugged directly into a computer is by turning on the wireless mode. Remove the Caps Lock Keycap to expose the wireless on/off switch. I will only use this thing in wireless mode. Once I did this the RGB lights started doing stuff.

Windows MAC Mode

FN+M long press for 3 seconds switches from windows to Mac Mode and vice versa. The Win Key and Alt Key get swapped if we are in MAC mode so if win key stops working we will know something got messed up.

Factory Reset

Long Press 3 Seconds Function + Escape Key.

Switch Connection Modes

Function + Tab sitches from Wired (ESC Lights up), F1 - F3 Lights up for what bluetooth conneciton you are on, F4 lights up green to inicate we are using 2.4 GHZ dongle connection.

Bluetooth Pairing

Long Press for 3 seconds Function + F1/F2/F3 to assign device. I think we need to be in blue tooth mode for this to work (ie Function + Tab Lights up F1-F3 not F4)

2.4GHZ Pairing

What is this? It says we can pair to dongle by long pressing Function + F4. Seems to just work for me without needing to pair. Might be needed if switching dongles?

Lock Unlock WIN Key

Function + Win disables WIN Key. Why? If it doesn't work I guess we need this.

Ultra Low Latency Mode

Function +H does something with low latency. RGB version: Press FN+H, and Caps Lock will rapidly flash white three times to indicate activation. Press it again, and it will flash once to indicate deactivation. Enabling the ultra-low latency mode results in the following delays: Wired: 2ms latency 2.4GHz: 3ms latency Bluetooth: Approximately 8ms latency.

RGB Lighting

FN+Backspace to turn back light on and off.

Firmware Update

Update Notes (v20240121) Added FN+L Long Battery Life Mode Deleted ESC Charging Indicator Added Charging Indicator to FN+Space, charging animations updated Pretty sure I have this firmware, since I see no charging indicator when plugged in unless I hold down FN+Space. That does seem to indicate it is charging. But how can I tell it is done charging? Keep pressing FN+space I guess?
