Wobkey Rainy 75 Charge
How much charge left
- Hold down Function + Space to see how much charge you have.
- We have RGB version so number keys 1-0 indicate how much charge you are at.
- 1 represents 10%
- 1-2 represents 20%
- and so on, until 1-0 are all continuously lit, indicating 100% battery
- When the battery is below 40%, it will display in red
- below 80%, it will display in yellow
- above 80%, it will display in green.
How can I tell if it is charging?
- When USB C Charging is occurring
- Hold down Function + Space to see RGB lighting strobe from 1 through 0
- When charge is complete all numbers will light up solid
- For some reason this charge indicator ONLY works if connected.
Not Connected
- To read battery activity the keyboard MUST be connected.
- Through BlueTooth, dongle or wired.
- When the keyboard awakens from sleep mode it attempts to connect
- If not connected the firmware only keeps trying to connect.
- F4 will blink for dongle connection
- OR F1-F3 will blink to connect over Bluetooth
- Do not bother trying to charge or read battery level while the keyboard is not connected
Caps Lock and the wireless on off switch
- Sometimes this keyboard locks up
- Until I shut off/on the wireless switch
- Then is starts pulling .8 amps
- No it's pulling .8 amps even with switch in on postiion
- Why is this thing so flakey?
- I recommend keeping the caps lock button off since we need access to the on/off switch for when it locks up
Ultra Low Latency Mode
Function +H does something with low latency.
RGB version: Press FN+H, and Caps Lock will rapidly flash white three times to indicate
activation. Press it again, and it will flash once to indicate deactivation.
Enabling the ultra-low latency mode results in the following delays:
Wired: 2ms latency 2.4GHz: 3ms latency Bluetooth: Approximately 8ms latency.
I never want low latency mode. It will just burn throught my battery.
If I care about that in gaming I will use a cord not wireless.
