1. Retrobat is basically Batocera for windows
2. While Retrobat uses Emulation Station like retorpie it is more feature rich.
3. Running external emulators like Dolphin, all settings can be controlled per game, etc from Retrobat.

Roms Dir

To continue sharing roms dir across different front ends we can follow the following instructions and make a custom es_system_xxx.cfg. Make a copy of es_systems.cfg with sys name at end of it with only the system you want to customzie. Then change rom dir path.
C:\_GAMES\emu\PC\RetroBat\emulationstation\.emulationstation
es_systems_gamecube.cfg
~\..\roms\gamecube
Change to ~\..\..\..\roms\gamecube
Now ROMS can be shared by Front Ends.

Dolphin

So I messed with dolphin and get things working how I want. But retrobat f's with everything in unkown hidden way. I have no clue how to fix crap in retrobat. My controls are all off. So where are they stored. Make sure you tell Retrobat to use XBOX layout for ROG ally. OR it will just mess with your stuff. What is auto. Everything is fucking auto meaning whp the fuck knows. Am I running retroarch or dolphin? Who knows. Need to diff default dolphin ini files.
