The function (F) button on the underside of the Anbernic RG552 serves different functions depending on your operating system: it acts as a Home/OS button in Android and acts as a hotkey modifier for emulators in Linux.Android ModeHome: Pressing the F button will take you back to the Android home screen.Recovery Menu: If your device won't boot correctly, you can access the Android Recovery Menu by holding down the F button while powering on the device.

Linux

Linux / RetroArch ModeMenu Hotkey: In the Linux-based custom firmwares, the F button is often configured as a hotkey to pull up the RetroArch Menu without needing a combo (like Start + Select).Booting to Linux: To boot into Linux, ensure your Linux SD card is inserted in the TF1 slot, then simultaneously press and hold both the F button and the Power button.
