On the Z-Fold 8 the finger print scanner is on the power button. We can store up to four finger prints.

Extend Unlock

1. Disables Lock by Location
2. It does not completely turn off your PIN or password, but it keeps your phone unlocked automatically when you are within about 100 meters of a trusted place you choose, like your home.
3. When you first arrive at your trusted place, you must unlock your phone manually with your PIN or biometrics once. After that, it stays unlocked.
4. It works within roughly 100 meters of your saved spot and relies heavily on GPS and Wi-Fi signals.

How to set up Trusted Places on Android

1. Open your phone's Settings app.
2. Scroll down and tap on Lock screen and AOD.
3. Tap on Extend Unlock (usually located right near the top of the menu).
4. Enter your PIN, pattern, or password.
5. Tap Trusted places.

Bluetooth

Smart tags cannot be used. Bluetooth can be used.

We should be able to use Extend unlock in the car
This can be done by using bluetooth on stereo

Android Auto Tip. Make sure start android auto while locked is set to On or could delay starting of Android Auto.
