Do NOT use charcoal Filter as that impedes airflow and is only meant for internal airflow.
Only use the Non Charcoal Filter.
Wash the non charcoal filter in the sink or dishwasher once a month to keepo clean.

AI says we can Buy 60 Watt equivelent LED Bulb (Only uses 5 to 7 watts) to brighten things up.
Color Tone: Look for "Daylight" or "Cool White" (5000K). This color mimics bright sunlight and makes it much easier to see your food cooking compared to the dim yellow factory bulb.
Compatibility: Make sure the box says "Dimmable" and "Appliance Rated" or "Suitable for Enclosed Fixtures." This ensures it can handle the grease, moisture, and high heat rising from your stove
In step 7 of the instructions is said to remove exahust adapter and place aside
It was screwed onto the left cieling of the device not connected to any hole
This exhaust adapter has the flap damper thingie on it
I ended up connecting it on to the duct protruding out from under the cabiniet using duct tape to hold it.
This made the ductwork have more of a flattened opening to hopefully make better contact with the hood.
Oddly I saw no way to connect this to the hood
The old model had it connected to the hood
The dampber flap has a spindle connected on the side closest to the wall
This means the flap should open on the side furthest from the wall
I do hope there are enough cfm's to open the flap
The purpose of the flap is to keep cold air out during winter
I cannot be sure there aren't other flaps elsewhere in the duct work as this does not go stright outside.
Looking up I could not tell if there are any obstructions
if it gets smoky we will need to send wired camera op there to investigate
The fan in the way makes it very difficult to access flap so try to push up thoruhg side away from wall
