protarc EM01 NL
- Purchased 2025-11 for 37$ with purple track ball.
- Things I like more on the protoarc than the MX Ergo.
- Cheaper, Pick a trackball color, 3 device connectivity, USB C, feels pretty close to ergo.
- I still prefer the palm rubber coating for grip and tactile click on the mx-ergo.
- I think this mouse beats the m575 easily.
- For feel MX Ergo still wins becuase of rubber palm grip.

Connections
The connections om this are way better than the ergo.
Not only does it connect to 3 devices it has a light up indicator to show what connection you are on when you click the button.
MX Ergo needs to copy this.

Notes
- Same tilt bottom with rubber coating as MX Ergo
- I don't think this bottom can be fully seperated which is fine
- USB C Rechargeable Li-Po (900 mAh) battery
- 2 Blue tooth and 1 USB 2.4 GHZ, so 3 devices.
- I got it with Purple track ball.
- I swapped the purple ball in this to the mx ergo.
- The silver MX Ergo ball works fine in this.
- Now I can differentiate my MX Ergos.
Bluetooh
turn it on, press the channel button to select slot 2 or 3, and hold it for 3–5 seconds until the light flashes quickly. Then, open your device's Bluetooth settings and select "EM01 NL" to connect.
