Wobkey Pro Keycaps

Set Profile Material Notes
Wobkey Pro Stock Cherry Double Shot PBT Identical to rainy std. Help make noise pleasant.
Rainy 75 Std Cherry Double Shot PBT
dagaladoo MDA Polycarbonate I love the looks of these keycaps. But the feel seems off. Probably just going to use for peripheral keys. Think I am putting my rainy 75 cherrys back.
8 bitdo N Edition MDA Dye Sub PBT Dye Sub PBT feels better than poylcarb
8 bitdo C64 Edition SA Double Shot ABS The concave craters on these keycaps are super deep. Guessing more thant standard sa. Still once I got used to them they are awesome. They do take a little while to get used to though.

Keycaps

To start I want to stick with stock Keycaps. Might mix it up later.

Profiles

Key cap profiles dictate height shape and angles of the key caps. It's amazing how much this can completely change the feeling of the typing on a keyboard. Just as important as switch type.
  1. OEM. Medium Height, angled top, and lower rows
  2. Cherry. Medium to low height. Lower than OEM. Flatter top row. Angled lower rows. This improves typing feel so as fingers turn back more direct hit on key.
  3. MDA. FLAT. No Angles. Looks great. Feels worse.

Matarials Used

  1. Dye Sub PBT
  2. Double Shot ABS
  3. Textured Plastic. I got some cheap plasic Keycaps sets from china a while back and I really dig the texture. Somehow grip was increased when typing on them. They felt better to type on than smooth plastic IMO.
  4. Ceramic. Expensive. Never tried. Some people say they feel amazing.
  5. Polycarbonate. Some say feel like Ceramic.

dagaladoo transparent MDA Profile

  1. 20$ Per set
  2. Got reds and purples on 2025-09-01
  3. Amazon Link
  4. MDA Profile - Flat No angle looks great, but does not feel as good as cherry profile to type on as angled.
  5. Visibility is awesome on these. The white letter print is better than the rainy 75's default. Sometimes I could not make those keys out. These are super clear. Looks wise these are awesome.
  6. Polycarbonate Plastic - Smooth and slippery. Almost sweaty. Texture is not the best.
