Keychron V1 Max firmware

Firmware Update

Connect using wired connection (Will not work over bluetooth, but might over 2.4G connection) to https://launcher.keychron.com/#/keymap. I set up drivers on black 4700g computer. When connecting had to specify STM32F402 Controller. That is the controller inside this keyboard.

Step By Step

  1. Go to Keychron Support
  2. Click on Kechron V/V Max Series Firmware
  3. Open the launcher website. Linkļ¼šhttps://launcher.keychron.com/
  4. Slide the toggle to Cable mode and plug the power cable into your keyboard.
  5. Click 'Firmware Update' on the left.
  6. Click the 'Connect' button and select the keyboard Keychron V1 Max
  7. After Update I am at v1.1.1 as of 2025-0926
  8. Last firmware update was 2025-05-20

Download Toolbox

I had to install some special Drivers to get this to work. To do this I had to download toolbox. unzipping Toolbox, right-click the Toolbox icon and click 'Run as administrator' to open it. We see QMK Toolbox software running. Open it and click on the menu 'Tool'. Click 'Install Drivers', continue to click 'Yes' to start installing firmware Drivers, and wait for the installation. This step does not need to be performed again on blakc 3700h computer.
