Install

Using included Kingston microsd card I went through install that seems to Download over wifi some kind of custom raspberrry PI image. Took a while. Not sure why we can't just load .img file to a microsd card.

Updating OS

I remember reading somewhere this improves HDMI output support so we should do this next.

1. ssh in to retropie hostname
2. login as pi pw is raspberry
3. wget https://downloads.sourceforge.net/project/build-a-cade/update.sh
4. Make it executable with: chmod +x update.sh
5. Run the update script with:sudo ./ update.sh

Current Verstion is 1.1a
Update to version 1.1c

Retropi Version

4.8.4

raspi-config

sudo raspi-config
changed ssh password
host name to donkeykong
set WIFI locale to US to enable samba share.

retropie_setup

sudo ~/RetroPie-Setup/retropie_setup.sh
