Ayn Thor Stylus
It needs to be a capacitive stylus, so original DS & 3DS styluses won't work. You can use anything that's compatible with a smartphone.
Purchased this one for 10 Bucks.

Nintendo Switch Stylus
The Nintendo Switch uses a capacitive touchscreen, requiring a specialized capacitive stylus
Capacitive Touchscreen Compatibility: The screen works via electrical signals from the body, so any stylus must be conductive.
Passive Styluses: These are the most common, featuring conductive rubber or mesh tips. They simulate a fingertip and do not require power.
Active Styluses: These use a battery to create a more precise capacitance, allowing for finer tips (

), making them ideal for drawing and precise menu navigation.
Official Nintendo Stylus: Released primarily in Japan for Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training, this is a passive stylus with a specialized soft tip designed for high-precision, comfortable handling.
Limitations: The Switch screen does not have pressure sensitivity built into its touch panel, so stylus performance relies entirely on the app/game software and the stylus technology itself.
Samsung Note Stylus
Samsung Note Stylus (S Pen) technology utilizes Wacom-powered Electromagnetic Resonance (EMR) digitizers, allowing for battery-free, precise input with high pressure sensitivity. The screen powers the pen via magnetic fields, enabling hovering (Air View), palm rejection, and low-latency writing. Modern S Pens feature Bluetooth for remote "Air Actions.
These do NOT work with switch or thor.
3ds
The Nintendo 3DS utilizes a resistive touchscreen, meaning its stylus technology relies on pressure rather than electrical conductivity, unlike modern smartphones. The stylus tip is designed to be rounded and durable, allowing for high sensitivity and accurate, smooth, scratch-free control over screen navigation.
Passive. These do NOT work with switch or thor.
