RGB30 WIFI

1. From ES press Start
2. Main Menu Options Wifi.
3. Wifi Manager
4. Connect to new Wifi Connection
5. SSID Chose 2.4 G (Could also connect to 5G)
6. WIFI IS NOW ENABLED

I can ping 192.168.1.20. host is rgb30 but is not responding to hostname ping.

Remote Access

Remote access services (SSH and Samba) are disabled by default for security and reduced resource usage. They can be enabled by going to Options and selecting Enable Remote Services from the Emulationstation menu. AI says This must be enabled after every reboot for security. I have confirmed this is true.

I enabled it

Still no clue what got enabled. Seems I can now ping by RGB30 HostName If I try to connect to Samba share what is the username and password? Default user name and password is ark.

Putty

SSH to port 22 works with ark and ark

FTP

FTP does not work. But SFTP does.

http://rgb30 opens a arkos file browser web site. Seems to lets us view roms folders.

Samba

Seems samba is setup allowing insecure guests and windows 11 refuses to allow me to connect to samba. For Now I do not care. Personally I think windows 11 is over reacting. Just enable insecure guests. For works environments I get it. For Home who cares.
