Commands

  1. Holding (Select) on boot will launch the Luma3DS configuration menu.
  2. Holding (Start) on boot will launch GodMode9, or if you have multiple payloads in /luma/payloads/, the Luma3DS chainloader.
  3. By default, pressing (Left Shoulder) + (Down D-Pad) + (Select) while in 3DS mode will open the Rosalina menu, where you can check system information, take screenshots, enable cheats, and more. This can be changed from the Rosalina menu.
  4. Holding (Start) + (Select) + (X) on boot will make the notification LED show a color for debug purposes. See the changelog for a list.

File Types

  1. 3ds files are larger. Loaded in PC Emulatores
  2. cia files are smaller trimmed with zero bytes. Better for some 3ds files that are over 4GB
  3. fat32 has 4gb File Size Limitation

Installing 3ds Files

  1. xfr .3ds files to location on sd card like roms\3ds
  2. Hold start while booting 3ds to enter godmode 9
  3. Nav to SDCard
  4. Nav to .3ds game file
  5. NCSD image options
  6. Install Game Image
  7. Question:Can I delete .3ds file from sd card after install? Yes.
  8. Question Can I install doubles? If you install an already installed file it just wastes time. I just see one copy on home menu.

Trimmed Files

  1. Some games are 4GB and will not fit on fat32 file system
  2. If last bytes are 00 or FF cut off last 64 MB with trim powershelll
  3. Then can xfr and install as normal
