Xbox Emulators

Summary

  1. xemu
  2. cxbx

xemu

  1. Plays xiso format
  2. Supposedly better compatability
  3. easier to setup
  4. Worse Performance?
  5. Still getting weorked on regularly
Ninja Gaiden on my AMD 4700g GPU keeps getting lots of slow down when fighting enemies. The odd thing is there is NO CPU/GPU bottle neck. My guess is that there is a single threaded CPU bottle neck. Supposedly performance is better onm NVIDIA with OPen GL Gpus after disabling multi threaded settings or something.

4700g

Vulkan on AMD 4700g kept crashing until I updated my 4700 GPU Drivers. It must have made Vulkan more compatible. While Vulkan on AMD does seem marginally better than Open GL on the 4700g there are still noticable slow downs. Not all games have performance issues, but Surprised to see XBox 360 plays better than XBOX in emulators.

cxbx

  1. Plays digital HD ripped formnat
  2. Supposedly worse compatability
  3. Harder to setup, need some kind of file system driver
  4. Better Performance?
  5. No longer updated?
Not going to mess around with yet. Maybe later.
